As many of you know, I recently purchased an Uruk-Hai scimitar.

Well let me tell you, it was quite the pragmatic purchase. It has endless uses in my morning routine.

Such as making the bed:

Making toast:

Getting things off high shelves:

Making coffee:

Reaching the remote when it’s too far away:

And assisting me when I ran out of toilet paper:

I don’t know how I survived life without it.

No comment necessary.

You are my hero.

This is the best thing I’ve ever seen ever.

Reblogged from send the wolves

got very drunk and staggered back very late and paused with my friends in the park because the dawn light was making us glow. a friend’s new girlfriend kept insisting that she wants to set me up with a friend of hers - a pretty classics grad student who plays the lute, and friend’s gf kept showing me pictures of the girl. and it’s nice, you know? that someone would think i’m the kind of person who would interest a pretty classics grad student who plays the lute.

Inspired by The World Historical by coyotesuspect.

I paint him on the walls,
Because I want to share his fiery passion
With the whole world.
That way, I might not burn.

I paint him on the walls,
Because I am an egoistic man
Who wants to be the only one
To know his every details.

I take a gulp from my beer
And the sky breaks above my head
As he looks me in the eye.
Still I go on, burning myself on falling stars.

I walk the streets at dawn
And, hit by shy sunlight,
My art, myself, everything
Feels like his.

I listen to him
And to the beating of my heart.
I wish I could write the music of his words
Instead of just drawing the features of his face.

oh my gosh! how lovely! :DDD

David Beckham Retirement Announcement | 16.5. 2013 (x)
“I just want people to see me as a hard-working footballer. Someone that’s passionate about the game. Someone that, every time I stepped on the pitch, I’ve given everything that I have, because that’s how I feel. Going into games at the end of my career, that’s how I look back on it and hope people will see me. Because I think, over the years, it’s been my life and my career. People have obviously looked at certain other things that have gone on throughout my career, and I think sometimes that’s overshadowed what I’ve done on the pitch and what I’ve achieved on the pitch. As much as I say that doesn’t hurt me, of course it does. At the end of the day, I’m a footballer who has played at some of the biggest football clubs in the world. Played with some of the best players in the world. Played under some of the biggest and best managers, and achieved almost everything in football.”
